Locks of Love

Brittany Alessi of New Paltz, a member of Girl Scout Troop 392, had 10 inches of her hair cut at Studio One in New Paltz to donate it to Locks of Love. Locks of Love is a not-for-profit group that provides custom-fitted hair prosthetics for children under 18 who have suffered loss due to medical conditions. A sixth-grader at New Paltz Middle School, Alessi is the daughter of Joseph and Darlene Alessi of New Paltz.
